Constructivism

Constructivism has started in Russia in 1919 as an artistic movement after the world war 1. This lasted till the late 1930's.

Constructivism was mainly focused as an arts and architecture movement and this movement was against the thinking of 'Arts for arts'. Constructivism uses a lot of geometrical shapes and the main aspect was to deliver peace in countries.

A very popular artist in this movement was El Lissitzky , Noum Gabo , and Antoine Peusner and they have worked to bring the movement from the soviet union to the west. This art movement has various similarities of other art movements such as cubism with the use of flat shapes.

Stated as the most popular artwork done by El lissitzky.



One can clearly see the use of flat shapes that resembles the movement of Cubism.


El Lisstizky was born in Russia and was called many things such us a designer , typographer , photographer , designer , artist and architect. El lissitzky designed several propaganda for the soviet union around the 20th century.
